On a Friday I try to post my favourites from the week – links to cool content and tools that I’ve found or had recommended to me.
This week I’ve focused on Anti-Virus products for mobile devices. More than 40% of Smartphones don’t have Anti-Virus protection, yet AV Vendor Kaspersky recorded some 50,000 malware or virus attacks on Smartphones in the first Quarter of 2012. Intrigued (and shocked!) by this data, I’ve tested three free Anti-Virus tools that I believe are worth looking at.
AVG Anti-Virus for Android – A free Anti-Virus product for Android Smartphones from one of the most recognisable names in consumer Anti-Virus protection. Also includes Phone locator, remote wipe and Call and SMS blocker.
