Every Friday I share one of my favourite finds of the week — a website, tool or an app that has impressed me.
My Friday Favourite this week is InspiroBot – AI-Generated Inspirational Quotes.
What is it?
InspiroBot is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based bot that will produce an inspirational quote for you, on-demand — which often makes hilarious reading!
How much does it cost?
InspiroBot is free. Use it any time you need a jolt of machine-inspired inspiration!
AI-Generated Inspirational Quotes?!
I’ve written before about how AI-based bots can be genuinely useful tools for human beings.
For instance, Woebot – An AI-based Therapy Chatbot to Help with Depression and Anxiety, really does work in helping humans with their mental health.
And, in a way, InspiroBot can cheer humans up too — albeit unintentionally with some AI-based attempts at inspirational quotes!
Most of my Friday Favourites are genuinely useful. I’m not sure if InspiroBot fits into that category, but it does provide a good laugh!
InspiroBot describes itself as “I am an artificial intelligence dedicated to generating unlimited amounts of unique inspirational quotes for endless enrichment of pointless human existence.”
Some of the quotes that InspiroBot randomly generates can be quite profound, such as this one (I think)… “What seems attractive to a peasant, seems unattractive to someone with a heart”
But then other quotes InspiroBot generates are just plain hilarious. “We cannot save the world by vomiting, we can just save the world by showering”
Profound, eh?
InspiroBot also has a wonderfully hilarious “Mindfulness Mode”, where the bot will spout AI-generated “inspirational” quotes set to relaxing background music.
Highly recommended for when you need to relax and have a good laugh. 🙂
