Global MSP Day 2022: Grow your MSP without burning out
This year’s Global MSP Day took place on 20 May 2022. It’s always a great way to connect with your peers, and to find out how other managed services businesses have done during the pandemic.
It’s an opportunity to network and learn what’s new in the IT industry. Plus, share lessons learned, successes and best practices with your colleagues.
After the success of this year’s event, next year’s will be even better! Missed out? Then find out what happened in this blog.
Global MSP Day – Grow your MSP without burning out
I was delighted to have been invited by BarracudaMSP to be their guest speaker for the day.
The landscape has changed over the past two years, with IT Solution Providers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) having experienced quite the challenge with the pandemic and cybersecurity threats.
MSPs have been key workers, keeping the small business community running. But, it’s taken its toll and I think it’s fair to say some of us are feeling a little exhausted.
So how can we support our team and support ourselves, too?
My topic was: “Too busy to be stressed? How to help your MSP grow without burning out”. I talked about:
- The growing challenge that MSPs around the world are facing
- The challenge of continuously chasing growth aspirations
- Balancing growth while guarding against employees becoming stressed and burnt out
And there’s more!
Celebrating Global MSP Day
Barracuda also shared the results of the fifth edition of their annual report: The Evolving Landscape of the MSP Business.
It looks at global trends, challenges and opportunities, especially in the face of increased cybersecurity, as well as the impact of cloud and SaaS solutions.
Plus, independent channel organisation CompTIA shared details of their new cybersecurity training to help MSPs build resilience.
