X.AI – A Personal Assistant Who Schedules Meetings For You
Every Friday I share one of my favourite finds of the week — a website, tool or an app that has impressed me.
My Friday Favourite this week is X.AI – A Personal Assistant Who Schedules Meetings For You
What is it?
X.AI is an Artifical Intelligence (AI) bot who can schedule meetings for you via email using natural language, plain English.
How can it help me?
Do you ever spend time trying to organise a meeting with somebody? Bouncing emails back and forth trying to find a mutually convenient time to schedule?
If so, X.AI can save you the time and trouble of playing email ping-pong in trying to schedule meetings.
Simply copy X.AI into your email with your chosen meeting participant, and address either Amy or Andrew (X.AI personal bots!) in the email as you would a human personal assistant. For example:-
“Amy,
Dave and I want to meet for one hour at Starbucks, Grainger Street.
I’m free at 2 pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
Can you liaise with Dave to find a mutually convenient time?”
X.AI will then go away and liaise with Dave and find a mutually convenient time, before scheduling it in your calendar.
If the times you initially suggest to X.AI don’t suit you or your meeting partner, then X.AI can look at your diary and use other time slots you’ve preset to find a mutually convenient time for the meeting to take place.
I’ve used X.AI to schedule a number of meetings with clients recently, and I can honestly say that if I hadn’t told those clients that Amy was an AI bot, then those clients would have thought Amy was a human being on Team Tubb.
How much does it cost?
X.AI is free for a personal account to schedule up to 5 meetings per month.
A Professional account (with unlimited meetings) is $39 a month, and a Business account (for your whole team) is $59 a month.
How can I get it?
You can sign up for a free trial of X.AI by visiting the X.AI website.
You can also follow X.AI on Twitter, visit X.AI on Facebook or follow X.AI on LinkedIn.
Thanks to James Kimbley of Kimbley IT for the excellent suggestion of this weeks Friday Favourite!
