Friday Favourites – Lookout Security
On a Friday I try to post my favourites from the week – links to cool content and tools that I’ve found or had recommended to me.
This week I’ve focused on Anti-Virus products for mobile devices. More than 40% of Smartphones don’t have Anti-Virus protection, yet AV Vendor Kaspersky recorded some 50,000 malware or virus attacks on Smartphones in the first Quarter of 2012. Intrigued (and shocked!) by this data, I’ve tested three free Anti-Virus tools that I believe are worth looking at.
Lookout Security – Offering Anti-Virus and scheduled scanning for Malware, the free version also contains a locate function for lost devices and an alarm that can be remotely activated via a web-portal. Available for Android and Apple iOS.
Do you have any cool content or tools to share with me? Why not e-mail me or Tweet me,and if I feature them in my blog you can be sure to give you credit!
Have a great weekend!

Daniel - I've not used Vipre mobile AV myself, but it does come with a good reputation so worth investigating.
