How to Design a Web Site from Scratch
I’ve been really unhappy with my company web-site for some time now. It’s very old, and explains services and solutions I offered when I first started out working for myself – very little of which is still relevant today!
So a re-write of the site is required – but not being an experienced web designer myself – where to begin?
I’ll cover my struggles with the various web-design tools such as Dreamweaver, NetFusion, etc. another time, but a web-site that could help me with reminders on the basics, what (not) to do, common mistakes, etc. would be very useful.
So I’m grateful to Geoff Franklin over at Alvechurch Data for his link to the excellent Web Design from Scratch.
It answers nearly every question you could think of regarding web-design, and is easy to navigate. Highly recommended.
More on the re-write of my web-site soon.

Thanks! As for the information source, I read books, magazines and other blogs posts, and listen to tons of Podcasts. It's all good. :-)
