Every Friday I share one of my favourite finds of the week — a website, tool or an app that has impressed me.
My Friday Favourite this week is Briefcase by AppSumo – The Netflix for Software.
What is it?
Briefcase is a membership that gives you access to some of the best software tools for entrepreneurs.
How can it help me?
In a previous Friday Favourite, I highly recommend AppSumo – Daily Deals for Online Services.
Whereas AppSumo offers incredibly good lifetime deals for individual products, Briefcase is a subscription-based service from the team at AppSumo. It provides you with a whole raft of tools for growing your business, all of which you can use for one single flat fee.
Think of it like Netflix, only for software you might need to run a business.
At the time of writing, Briefcase currently offers subscribers dozens of tools including:-
- Sales and Business Development – Tools to help you get more clients, reach into new markets, and grow your business.
- Design and Product – Easily create beautiful designs for your website or marketing assets and take your products to the next level.
- Marketing and Blogging – From SEO to social media and analytics to blogging we’ve got you covered on all of your marketing needs.

Most of the tools individually cost at least $50/month on their own.
In addition to dozens of tools already included in Briefcase, members also get new tool credits each quarter that they can spend on AppSumo.
In effect, you can have the best of the new tools from AppSumo, plus all the tools already included in Briefcase.
I’d go as far as to say that if I were to start a business again tomorrow, then I’d simply buy a Briefcase subscription. I’d then know that almost every software tool I needed for my business is already included (plus a few I didn’t imagine I’d need!).
I’m personally a Briefcase subscriber, and whenever I need some software to do something in my business — I make Briefcase my first port of call and inevitably find a tool that can help me.
