The Opportunities for MSPs on Global MSP Day
In Richard’s presentation, he talked about how the landscape for managed service providers has changed since the pandemic.
The emphasis on helping your clients to achieve more with technology has never been more relevant. For example, by embracing AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiencies and help your clients stay ahead of the competition.
Luckily for MSPs, it’s not a fight they have to do alone. Choosing Vendor partners who are known for innovation is a good start. Peer communities are actively collaborating on how we can deliver these solutions effectively to our clients. This knowledge-sharing is for the benefit of all in the MSP space.
But the growth opportunities in AI are there to enhance strengths and not replace emotional interactions. The key to success lies in achieving an equilibrium between AI efficiency gains and the human touch.
What Else Happened at Global MSP Day 2024?
As always, Barracuda MSP shared the results of their “The Evolving Landscape of the MSP Business Report.” This annual survey included insights from the MSP community.
There were many networking opportunities, both virtually and at the in-person events. Additionally, the event featured inspirational talks, sponsor news, and vendor updates.
Evolving Landscape of the MSP Business Report
As is tradition, Barracuda MSP’s annual Evolving Landscape of the MSP Business report was released in conjunction with Global MSP Day 2024.

Global MSP Day 2024: The London Networking Event
The in-person networking event that took place in London was held at the Boom Battle Bar on Oxford Street at 3pm in the afternoon.
Richard Tubb and Stephen McCormick were both in attendance, and spoke to a number of MSPs.
Also, at the London event was Sandro Roppa, Regional Account Director for Barracuda MSP, and Wingman MSP’s Mark Copeman.
Together we enjoyed some interesting discussions while engaging in some Axe Throwing, Augmented Reality Darts and Shuffleboard.
Look Ahead from Global MSP Day 2024
Today, businesses are even more dependent on their technology providers as ever.
With evolving cyber threats, sales pipelines to manage and complex AI tools to master, we have to look at trusting in our peers and vendor partners to help us deliver the best possible results for our clients.
However, we should also not forget what a great industry it is. And all the good things managed service providers have achieved, especially since the pandemic.
